I’m honoured you’ve made it here to get to know me more personally.
I’m a born and raised prairie girl with a heart for the west coast. I live in Vancouver, BC where I spend most of my time beach bumming, eating post-swim take-out with my husband and yellow Lab, Blue. Other family members include our rescue cat, Boots, and a growing number of houseplants. Neither of which likes the beach.
My friends know me for being a cat lady (don’t let the dog fool you), and preferring my puns intended.
Both photography and writing have been my means of expression for most of my life. They are how I’ve processed emotions and documented the seemingly ordinary of every day, only to realize how significant a fleeting moment can be. I find thrill in raw expression and showing up as you are. Sometime’s it’s the bravest thing you can do. Using these passions to support others in telling their stories has been my greatest joy (well, other than my pets) and I am elated to get to spend my days creating with fellow humans for years to come.
When I’m not busy slinging a camera or being a byline junkie, you can catch me trying to beat my previous run time, camping, travelling to all corners of the globe, diving the deep seas or savouring Savasana post-yoga practice.
In case you were wondering…
I’m an INFJ and an Aries so do with that what you will...
I’m not a morning person unless it’s for a sunrise photo session and coffee is included.
I once paused a photoshoot to save an injured bird. 100% would do it again.
I’m a Synesthete. I have Grapheme-color synesthesia to be exact (google it). It’s a fun party trick.
But enough about me. It’s about time I meet you.
